GEORGE FRANCART

George R. Francart, “Papa”, of Neenah, age 87, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Monday, July 25, 2016.  He was born November 11, 1928 in Neenah, son of the late Richard and Ella (Zastrow) Francart. 

Papa was a wonderful man and one of the most caring, loving, considerate and strong men we knew.  He loved his family, and his wife Margaret, completed him.  George was married to the love of his life and soulmate for almost 61 years.  Papa adored his wife and treasured time with his family.  George served his Country in the US Navy during the Korean War.

Papa loved to dance, was a persistent problem solver, loved to fish, trips to the casino with Margaret, and of course, spending time with his family. 

Survivors include his wife, Margaret; three children: Karen (Ed) Kowalkowski, Donna Francart, Kevin (Barbara) Francart; five grandchildren: Sara (Derek) Bierman, Declan Francart, Shea Francart, Carolyn Francart, Liah Francart; three great-grandchildren: Andi Francart, Adelyn Bierman, Liam Bierman; sister, Joan (Vern) Schneider; other relatives and friends.  In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his brother Louis.

No formal services for George are scheduled at this time.
