June Smith Perry died peacefully on August 10, 2016 (one day after her 103rd birthday) at her home in Neenah, WI. She was born in Detroit, MI to Herbert G. and Estelle Smith on August 9, 1913. She was married 65 years to Theodore H. Perry and raised three sons.
June was a member of Ridgeway Country Club for 65 years and a member of Appleton Curling Club for over 20 years. She volunteered as a docent at Bergstrom Mahler Museum. She enjoyed 17 years at Island Shores Community in Neenah where she participated in bridge and other activities.
June is survived by two sons, Robert R. Perry and Leslie H. Perry, daughter-in-law Betsy Perry (John), four grand- children: Sean (Michelle) Perry, Kate (Matt) Johnson, Theodore W. Perry, Christina Perry, and 5 great grand-children: MacKinsey, Annabell, and Charlie Perry, and Elsa and Lola Johnson. She was preceded in death by husband Theodore H. Perry, son John F. Perry, and brother Ford Smith.
A Celebration Of Life service will be held at Island Shores at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 13, for family and friends.
