Obituary
Joyce J. Ernst, age 93, of Neenah passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016. She was born on February 10, 1923 in Iron Mountain, Michigan, daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Lear) Jarvey. Joyce married Edwin L. Ernst Sr. on November 6, 1943, he preceded her in death in December, 1983.
Joyce was a 1942 Neenah High School graduate, she retired from Kimberly-Clark Corp. in 1984, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Christian Women's Circle. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and reading.
Survivors include her children: Becky (Steve) Weber, Karen (Jay) Koller, Jim (Tammy) Ernst; grandchildren: Brett (Erica) Weber, Brian (Katie) Weber, Stephanie (Nathan) Boelter, Joe (Jess) Koller, Mike Koller, Andy (Jessica) Koller; great-grandchildren: Caroline, Fredrick, Calvin, Troy, Kyla, Korben, Allison, and Aaron.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Edwin Jr.; infant grandson, Chad Ernst; and sisters, Mabel Gorrell and Emily Grant.
The Christian Funeral Service for Joyce will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. D.J. Engelbrecht officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in her name.
