Obituary
Judith R. Muggenthaler, age 64, of Appleton passed away peacefully on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Appleton Medical Center with her family at her side. She was born on November 9, 1951 in Appleton, WI daughter of the late Anton L. and Helen E. (Fitzgibbon) Muggenthaler.
Judy will be sadly missed by her son, Brian Lauterbach, Washington D.C.; twin sister and best friend, Jean (Jeff) Koller, Black Creek; sister: Mary (Roy) Langdon, Appleton; brother, Tom (Cheryl) Muggenthaler, Appleton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Matthew Langdon.
Judy was known by friends and neighbors as a gentle, kind, and exceptionally thoughtful soul. She enjoyed singing in her community choir with her sisters, reading, and cherished time walking her beloved dog and companion, Pucci. With her passing, Judy leaves a legacy of love and compassion for people and life's simplest things, to which we all can aspire.
Judith was laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery, Appleton, beside her parents and nephew. A private funeral was held just for immediate family.
