JAMES ROBINSON

James F. Robinson, age 72, of Menasha passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital after a hard-fought battle with bladder cancer, his family was at his side.  He was born on January 9, 1944 in Neenah, WI son of the late Joseph and Helen (Smith) Robinson.  After graduating from Menasha High School, Jim proudly served his country with the U. S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam War.  James loved vacations out to California to spend time with his children and grandchildren.  He enjoyed playing golf and cribbage with his friends.

He will be sadly missed by his children: Jackie (Jake) Jordan, San Diego, CA; Casey (fiancée Cheryl Wood) Robinson, Aliso Viejo, CA; grandchildren: Jason and Melissa Jordan; a sister, Donna Dohr, Clintonville; brothers: Keith (Marilyn) Robinson, Appleton; Tom Robinson, Menasha.  In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Nina Robinson; a sister, Carol Ann Robinson; brother-in-law, Frank Dohr; sister-in-law, Ida Robinson.

In accordance with James' wishes, no service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Menasha Public Library.
