Obituary
Luella A. Cheslock, age 90, passed away at home with family by her side on Thursday, October 27, 2016. She was born an only child on March 11, 1926. She was a lifelong resident of Neenah and a faithful member of First United Methodist Church. She graduated from Neenah High in 1944. On October 9, 1948 Luella married Donald Cheslock in Menasha, he preceded her in death in 1975. Luella worked for Kimberly Clark for 26 years.
In retirement, she enjoyed traveling, bowling, golfing, going to Curves, attending her high school luncheons, K.C. girls' parties, and most of all spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. In March of 2016 she was surprised with a 90th birthday celebration. In June, two of her daughters moved back from California after 35 years, which made her very happy. Luella was also a three time cancer survivor.
She is survived by her four children: Tim Cheslock; Linda Hintzen; Lisa Drutt; Lana (Bob) Pavlak; five grandchildren: Lindsay (Eric) Lemke, Fair Oaks, CA; Kayla Drutt, Neenah; Tara (Aaron) Colby, Neenah; Alyssa (Rocky) Schafer, Neenah; Joshua (fiancée Destiny) Pavlak, Omro; seven great-grandchildren: Hailey Lemke; Aidan and Emma Colby; Paityn, Jaelyn, Rylie, and Zayne Schafer; brother-in-law, Dick Cheslock; and sister-in-law, Mary Spielbauer; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred; husband, Donald; and son-in-law, Matt Drutt.
A memorial service for Luella will be held 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at First United Methodist Church, 108 W. Doty Ave., Neenah, Rev. Tony Fuller officiating. Visitation will be held at church from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. A luncheon also held at church will follow. Interment will be in Clayton Cemetery.
