VIRGINIA PAVELETZKE

Obituary

Virginia M. Paveletzke, “Ginny” of Neenah, age 89, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 2, 2016.  She was born near Manawa, WI, on January 10, 1927, daughter of the late Arthur and Lillian Pagel. Ginny married Harry Paveletzke on April 23, 1949.  He preceded her in death on May 20, 2012. 

Ginny retired from Bergstrom Paper Co. after 50 years of employment where she faithfully served as Secretary of the Union for decades.   She enjoyed gardening, traveling to Florida to visit her niece and family, vacations with family in Northern Wisconsin, country music, and spending time with her local family.  She looked forward to Sunday morning breakfast outings with her great- nieces and nephew at local restaurants.  Ginny was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Neenah.

Survivors include her sister, Geri (Robert) Hase; a brother, Kenneth (Mary) Pagel; sister-in-law Marilyn Pagel; niece and nephews: Darrell Hase, Duane (Susan) Hase, Dennis (Wanda) Hase, David (Kathy) Hase, Teresa (Greg) Matton, Mike Pagel, Tom (Debbie) Pagel, Dan (Lisa) Pagel, Doug Pagel, Laurie Pagel, Bonnie, Sandy, Sherri Pagel;  great-nieces and nephews that were especially close to Ginny: Layne, Emily, Dylan, Isabella Hase and Alexis and Kyle Matton of Florida.

Ginny was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Pagel.

Special thanks to Kathy Hase for the countless hours of loving care she provided to Ginny.  Also a heartfelt thanks from Ginny's family to Heartland Hospice and Right At Home Care for their compassionate care of Ginny in her home.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 407 Oak St., Neenah, with Rev. Tony McKenzie officiating.  The visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 AM until the hour of service.
