JAMES ERICKSON

James W. Erickson of Neenah, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 18, 2016. He was born November 23, 1941 in Green Bay, and attended Appleton West High School, graduating in 1960.

As a young man, Jim worked for many years at Butte des Morts Country Club, and after high school, joined the team at Electro Measure in Menasha, which ultimately led him to create the beginnings of Plexus Corporation, where he remained until his retirement in 2005.

After retirement, Jim divided his time between Neenah and wintering in Florida with his beloved wife of 53 years, Patricia.

Jim had a lifelong love of dogs, especially with his two Viszulas, which he shared with the community through his active membership and support of the Winnegamie Dog Club. Jim also enjoyed wood carving, exercising his dogs, and was a true artist in all his endeavors. He will be missed by his loving wife, Pat; daughters: Jean Bridwell of Charles Town, WV; and Sara Erickson of Neenah; and by his granddaughter, Helena Bridwell. He is further survived by his sisters: Joyce Langner and Judy (Ron) Hawkins; as well as by his brothers: Richard (Marjorie) Erickson; and Rodney (Val) Erickson; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Jim will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, Rev. Michael Huff officiating. A visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Jim's name

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
