JAMES JOHNSON

James Marques “Jimmer” Johnson, age 35 of Menasha, was taken from us on Friday, December 23, 2016. He was born January 18, 1981 to Janet Paveletzke and James Allen Johnson.

Jimmer will be remembered for his special sense of humor; he had a nickname for everyone and was always very sarcastic, sassy, and very quick-witted. He loved traveling to Las Vegas and playing poker in general. He also enjoyed bowling, fishing, and shooting hoops, but his favorite times were spent with his children. He had a love for music and was a fan of watching the Eagles and Seahawks win football games. He was a hard worker and maintained full-time employment for a majority of his life, providing for his family. Growing up he also had a deep love and a close relationship with his grandmother, Jean Paveletzke, who preceded him in death.

Jimmer is survived by his children: Dominik, Marques, Camren, and Kaiden Johnson, and their mother, Amanda Niemuth; his mother, Janet Paveletzke; his brother, Ryne “Bugsy” (Chels); sisters: Tiara “Chub” and Tiana “Skin;' as well as by his nieces: Kyleigh and Carly. He is further survived by his aunts: Jane, JoAnn “Tyke,” and godmother Judy; and uncles: godfather Fred “Rick” and John; as well as close friend and cousin, Jeremy; and many other close family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Johnson, and his uncle Jim.

A funeral service for Jimmer will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 12:00 NOON until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Jimmer's name.
