JAMES LUKA

James P. Luka, age 69 of Mountain, formerly of Neenah, passed away late Tuesday, February 7, 2017. He was born August 5, 1947 to the late Bernard and Shirley (Flenz) Luka in Menasha, and married Geraldine Quimby on October 5, 1967.

Jim was a hardworking man, putting in almost 40 years with Neenah Foundry. On the weekends he enjoyed time up north with his family, woodworking, hunting, and fixing things. After retirement, he and Geri moved to the cabin permanently where his weekend hobbies became his life. Together they enjoyed keeping a well-manicured yard with endless yardwork and gardening, but his greatest joy was simply sitting around the fire with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Most recently, he enjoyed riding his Harley.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Geri; his children: Pat (Karrie) Luka; Linda (Scott) Rougeux; and Lorie (Tim) Dausey; his grandchildren: Andy Luka; Steven, Hannah, and Jacob Rougeux; Nicole (Jesus) Bautista; and Alicia and Michael Dausey; as well as two great-grandchildren; brother, Tim (Tracy) Luka; sister, Candy (Glen) Ihde; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Jim will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
