Obituary
Charles W. Fischer, age 90, of Neenah passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Atrium of Neenah. He was born on October 1, 1927 in Buffalo, NY, son of the late Charles H. and Florence L. (Fritz) Fischer. While attending Buffalo University, Chuck was drafted into the Army. On June 24, 1950 he married his high school sweetheart, Ruth T. Ball in Buffalo. Their marriage was blessed with three daughters and 67 wonderful years. Chuck was a meat salesman by trade, but a woodworker at heart. Chuck had a true passion for wood working, creating furniture, and art. He will be remembered as a humble and kind man, who loved his family and the Lord very deeply.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Ruth; his daughters: Linda (Neil) Honsberger, Racine, WI; Deborah (Randy) Dittmar, North Tonawanda, NY; Nancy (Mark) Snyder, Neenah, WI; grandchildren: Geoffrey (Christie), Scott, and David (Audra) Honsberger; Dana (special friend Nick) and Brian Ardino; Katie (Brandon) Nelson; Jamie (Tony) Krueger; great grandchildren: Kane, Kolt, Ethan, Liam, Brookelyn, Noah, Maggie, Finn, Sophia, Konnor, and Louie to be born soon.
The Memorial service for Chuck will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Peace Lutheran Church (1228 S. Park Ave., Neenah) with Rev. Ricky Schroeder officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
