PAUL SCHULZ

Paul Richard Schulz, of Neenah, age 69, passed away April 1, 2017 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Neenah, with his significant other, and his family, by his side.

Paul was born February 23, 1948 in Oconto, WI, son of the late Paul H. and Audrey E. (Delcore) Schulz.  He graduated from Appleton West High School in 1966.  Paul served in the US Navy as a Radioman during the Vietnam era.

At one time Paul belonged to the American Legion Post #38 in Appleton, serving in many positions and on several committee's including Post Commander in 1982.  He was also a member of the original Scarlet Guard.  In his early years he worked for Rich's Bakery, Dow Jones and then Anchor Food/McCain's, retiring in 2015 after 25 years. 

Paul loved to deer hunt and enjoyed fishing with his buddies, Bill Bodah and Terry Charles “Chucky”, from Antigo and Wausau.

Paul is survived by his significant other, Nancy Felda; a son, Trevor A. (Desiree) Schulz; adopted daughter, Melanie (Alan) Bell; grandchildren: Gabriel, Jonah, Sawyer and Wilder Schulz, Krystal Bell and her special friend, Matt, and Adam Bell; his sisters: Juliann (Steve) Wolfgang, Beaver Dam, Wendy (Larry) Kloehn, Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, with Rev. David Chapin officiating.  The visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the hour of service. Full Military Honors will follow the service.  In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in his name.
