Obituary
Hilda F. Olson, age 99 passed away on Monday evening, August 15, 2016 at Park View Health Center in Oshkosh. She was born on December 17, 1916 in Outagamie County, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Herman and Julia (Hurab) Falk. Hilda is a graduate of New London High School, Class of '36. She worked at American Can in Menasha. She was married to John M. Olson of Shawano after the boys came home from World War II. The couple lived in Menasha, and had two children: Bonnie Mae and Johnnie Jr., who was killed in a motorcycle accident in Menasha at 22 years after his service in Vietnam.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Mae; her granddaughter, Kim Gast, of Lena; four great grandchildren: Amanda, Brian, Jesse, and Jared; 8 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, husband John, and son Johnnie Jr., she was preceded in death by her siblings: Art Falk and Ed Falk; Louise Zeichert; Lillian Paulson; Minnie Pelky; great-great grandchildren: Mason David Gast, Brian Delbert Roger Welch Jr.
The Funeral Service for Hilda will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Paul L. Holte officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah.
