CHRISTINE WELHOUSE

Christine M. Welhouse, age 65, of Neenah passed away on Tuesday afternoon, April 11, 2017 at ThedaCare Medical Center – Neenah.  She was born on August 31, 1951, daughter of Rita and the late James T. Blank.  Christine was a graduate of Neenah High School and worked as a secretary for Kimberly Clark.  On January 19, 1991 she married Jeffrey J. Welhouse.  Christine was a gifted floral arranger and decorator.  She enjoyed playing golf, cooking, and above all, she loved her family, and cherished time with her special granddaughter, Autumn.  Christine was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Neenah.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 26 years, Jeffrey Welhouse; her sons: Brad Birkholz, Neenah; Eric Birkholz, Neenah; granddaughter, Autumn Birkholz, Greenville; step-son, Jeffrey J. Welhouse Jr., Madison; her mother Rita (Vernon) Lemke, Neenah; sisters: Debbie (Tom) Kolasinski, Winchester, Vicky Johnson, Appleton; P.J. Shelley, Appleton; Teena (John) Keesler, Neenah; brothers: Jimmy Blank, Neenah; Rodney (Nancy) Blank, New London; aunt Sandra Jerikowic, Neenah; uncle Jim Beringer, Neenah;  a special brother-in-law, Michael Johnson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her father James T. Blank.

The Funeral Mass for Christine will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church (439 Washington Ave., Neenah) with Rev. Michael Ingold officiating.  Friends will be received on Monday directly at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service.  Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Christine's name may be given to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Wounded Veterans of America.
