KRISTINE BARR

Kristine E.  Barr, of Neenah, age 52, was called home to the arms of her Heavenly Father unexpectedly, but peacefully, on Saturday, April 15, 2017. She was born December 3, 1964 in Lima, OH, daughter of the late Harvey and Janice (Rohrer) Donaldson.

Kris married the love of her life, David Barr, on May 18, 1985. Together they built a life of happiness and laughter; raising two sons, loving their partners as their own daughters, and creating the family ideal. Kris enjoyed many passions throughout her years, mainly relating to the love she felt for her friends and family. She loved to cook and bake, and usually made enough to feed a small army. She loved to travel and vacation with her loved ones. She loved going on “date nights” with Dave. She loved planning and celebrating family events and holidays, always making sure that every child got something special. She loved spending time with and spoiling her “best girl” (her granddaughter, the apple of her eye). She was so much too so many people.

Survivors include her husband, David; two sons: Zachary (Candace) Barr, Jacob Barr and his fiancé, Danae Hoover; a granddaughter, Annabel Barr; her mother-in-law, Janet Barr; two brothers: Craig Donaldson and his fiancé, Kylie Moreau, Brett (Patti) Donaldson; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Kris was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Jerry Barr; an infant sister, Jill; aunt Linda Kromah; uncle Roger Yaun; and her grandparents.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at First United Methodist Church, 108 W. Doty Ave., Neenah, with Rev. Mark Geisthardt officiating.  The visitation will be held at Neenah's Westgor on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.  In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her name.
