JASON GARCIA

Jason J. Garcia, age 42, of Neenah passed away on Tuesday morning, May 9, 2017 at ThedaCare Medical Center, Neenah following a life-long battle with a congenital heart defect.  He was born on September 22, 1974 in West Allis, Wisconsin son of Bradley and Beth (Dobberstein) Garcia.  On May 23, 2008 he married the love of his life, Heather in Ocala, Florida.  Their marriage was blessed with a daughter, Emma; and they were just shy of their nine year anniversary.  Jason was most recently employed by and retired from Outagamie County as the Emergency Preparedness Planner.  Jason loved fishing and being on the beach in the Gulf of Mexico.  He was an avid sports fan, who cheered for the Packers, Badgers, and Florida Gators.  Though he loved the beach and sports, Jason's greatest passion was to be an amazing husband to Heather and the greatest dad to Emma.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Heather; daughter, Emma; parents: Bradley Garcia, Jacksonville, FL; Beth Garcia, Neenah; brother: Bradley II (Dawn) Garcia, Stoughton, WI; nephew: Bradley Garcia III; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

A Memorial Service for Jason will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Neenah's First United Methodist Church (108 W. Doty Ave.) with Pastor Mark Geisthardt officiating.  Friends and family will be invited to gather immediately after the Memorial Service in the Church's Fellowship Hall.
