Obituary
Linda H. Block, 62, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Rennes Health in the company of her family. She was born June 22, 1954 to the late Lowell & Shirley Grosskopf in Neenah. Linda was married to Mark Block on August 2, 1997. Linda enjoyed long bubble baths and reading books. Linda and Mark enjoyed being social, traveling, and casinos. Linda loved her children and grandchildren very much and liked spending time with them.
Linda is survived by her husband, Mark; her children Tracie (James) La Rue-Moen, Appleton, and Tammie (David) Kersten, Neenah; stepchildren Steven (Erin) Block, CA, Robyn (Kris Kray) Franzen, Hortonville, Becky (Kyle Matowitz) Franzen, Freedom; grandchildren Noah, Kailie, Brenna, Kayla, Logan, Braeden, Mason, Charlie, & Hank; siblings Loren (Cindy) Grosskopf, Cody, WY, Keith (Kay) Grosskopf, Larsen; Scott (Julie) Grosskopf, Manawa, Steven Grosskopf, Berlin, Larry (Pam) Grosskopf, Manawa and very special “seester” Sherry (Tom) Kempen, Greenville. There are many nieces, nephews, and friends left behind.
The Memorial Service for Linda will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church (140 S. Green Bay Rd., Neenah) with Rev. Robert Wilkinson officiating. Friends will be received directly at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
The family would like to thank Dr. Goggins and his staff at FVHO, the staff at Affinity Hospice, & Rennes Health for the wonderful and compassionate care they gave to Linda and her family.
