JOHN ZWICK

John P. Zwick, age 87 of Neenah, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 20, 2017. He was born December 13, 1929 to the late Frank and Helen (Neitz) Zwick, the youngest of eight.

John will be remembered as a hard worker. He often teased that work was his hobby.  He loved to be busy. He had a witty sense of humor and was known as a jokester.  He was commonly described as good company and a great friend. He was stubborn as an ox, but had the very biggest of hearts.

John lived and breathed the Packers, claiming they ranked second to the Lord. He also enjoyed gardening, specifically annual flowers; working at the cabin; and fishing. He will always be loved, remembered, and held dear to all those who had the honor of knowing him.

John is survived by his daughters: Christine, Leslie, Katie; his son, Paul; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his three sisters and four brothers; as well as by his son, John “Hans,” and his grandson, Bradley.

A memorial service for John will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 809 S. Commercial St., Neenah. A visitation will be held Friday at church from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service.
