HAROLD JACOBSEN

Harold N. Jacobsen, age 91, of Neenah, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 30, 2017.  He was born February 28, 1926 in Neenah, son of the late Nels and Martha (Bengel) Jacobsen.  His mother passed away early and Nels married Marble Beck.

Harold was born and raised in Neenah and worked as a farmer all his life.  He was also on the Town of Menasha Fire Department for 47 years.

Harold married the love of his life, Shirley Teske, on November 14, 1947.  She preceded him in death on April 20, 1993.  Harold enjoyed bowling, hanging out with his buddies fishing at the Cottage, having a few cocktails, coffee and donuts.  He loved riding his golf cart up and down the road visiting with his neighbors.

Survivors include his five children:  Ann Hobson, Pam (James) Campbell, Kim Jacobsen, William Jacobsen, Jeff Jacobsen; ten grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Harold was preceded in death by two daughters-in-law: Darlene Jacobsen, Debbie Jacobsen; a brother, Carl (Lucy) Jacobsen; and several brother and sister-in laws.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home.  The visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.  Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
