Obituary

June Shuler, 89 of Neenah Wisconsin passed away on May 4th, 2022 after a short battle with Leukemia at Bethel Home in Oshkosh.  June was born in Dubuque Iowa and graduated from Dubuque Senior High in 1950.  She moved to Wisconsin shortly after where she met her husband Donald and they settled in Neenah in 1965 to raise their kids, Craig & Connie.

June worked for the Neenah Joint School District for twenty plus years, and continued to work at Fleet Farm as a cashier until she was eighty years old.  June enjoyed spending time with her family.  She visited her sister and their families in Dubuque frequently. She also was actively involved with her grand-children, attending games, providing rides when needed, and tying skates as necessary.

June is survived by her children Craig (and Julie) Shuler, Connie Mitchler (and Randy); grand-children Sara, Paul, Rebecca, Allison and James Shuler; grand-children Tyler Mitchler (and Jenna) and Robyn Kopiske (and Ross); and great-grand-children Alexia & Melina Kopiske and Ben Ritchie.  June was preceded in death by her Husband, Donald Shuler and her Siblings Elaine Kruse, Donald Houy, Carol Brayton and Sue Kaesbauer.

A visitation will be held at the Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty Avenue, Neenah on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 4pm to 7pm.  The Funeral Service will be held at First United Methodist Church, 108 W. Doty Avenue, Neenah at 10am on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.  Burial services in Beaver Dam Wisconsin will follow the Ceremony.

The family wants to thank the staff at Bethel Home and Heartland Hospice for the loving care they provided June in her last weeks.

Connie and Craig. Probably don't remember me but I babysat for you both when you lived on Walnut Street in Menasha. I always liked your family and whenever, through the years, I saw your mom we had good chats. She was such a nice person. She will be missed by all.

So sorry to hear about June. I worked with June at Roosevelt Elementary School. Although I haven't seen her since retiring in 1999 since we moved from the Fox Valley area. June was always so positive, helpful, caring and kind. She was loved by everyone. Kay and Jack Falcus
