Obituary
William E. “Bill” Okrasinski, of Neenah, age 82, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. He was born February 16, 1935 in Green Bay, son of the late Edwin and Laura (Roberts) Okrasinski.
Bill was raised in Crandon by his aunt, Jenny DeLaura. He married Leslie Wilson on November 21, 1967, in Crandon. Bill retired from the Neenah Foundry after 28 years of employment. He enjoyed woodworking and he was a wonderful cook.
Survivors include his wife, Leslie; three sons: Robert (Jennifer) Okrasinski, Jeff (Susie) Okrasinski, Tom Okrasinski (special friend, Erin Christensen); four grandchildren: Christopher Okrasinski, Alexandria (Matt) Nitke, Elyssa Okrasinski, Lacy Okrasinski; three great-grandchildren: Isabella, Elijah and Connor; a brother, Walter (Kathy) Powell; and a sister, Rose Cornell.
Bill was preceded in death by his aunt, Jenny DeLaura; two brothers: Andrew Okrasinski, Gilbert Powell; and a sister, Molly Bocek.
The funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until the hour of service. Burial will take place in Lakeside Cemetery in Crandon at 11:00 on Thursday, October 5, 2017. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Bill's name.
