DAVID BOCHE

David R. “Bosh” Boche, age 66 of Gillett, passed away peacefully at his home, Sunday, November 5, 2017.  He was born November 11, 1950 to Bernard and Margaret (Schmeling) Boche in Oshkosh and grew up in Shawano, Winneconne, and Menasha.

David graduated from Menasha High School on June 4, 1969, and joined the United States Army Reserves. He did his active duty Basic Training, Advanced Infantry Training and graduated Drill Sargent School at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He completed six years of service and was honorably discharged as a Drill Sargent with the rank of Sargent First Class (E-7).

Early in his life, David was employed at Jersild Knitting Company working in the shipping department. On June 14, 1980, he married Deborah Gothe. Later in life he started David Boche Construction, working as a carpenter and contractor.

David is survived by his wife, Debby; his brother, Donald Boche; his nephew, Jason (Beth) Boche; sisters-in-law: Paula (Bruce) Wendler, and Kimberly (Paul) Hendricks; and by his god-daughter and niece, Jessica (Andrew) Trombello; and nieces: Kristi (Matthew) Vander Zanden; and Alecia Hendricks; as well as by their families.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; and by his step-mother, Nannette (Jersild) Boche.

A funeral service for David will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until the hour of service. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in David's name.
