JOHN WILLES

John E. Willes, age 63 of Milwaukee, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 3, 2017. He was born May 8, 1954 to the late Franklin and Shirley (Mucha) Willes in Neenah.

John loved golfing, fishing, hunting and spending time up at his cabin swimming and snorkeling for treasures. He also attended hundreds of Brewers games and greatly enjoyed time with his family. He was so proud of his nephews and niece.

John especially loved his parrots, Chico and Tina; and his parakeets, finches and doves. His love of life will be especially missed, along with his laughter, and of course, his brilliant talent for puns.

John is survived by his sisters: Connie Willes, Neenah; and Bonnie (David) Resch, Neenah; his nephews: Joe Resch, and his son, Greyson; Bryan Resch; Frank Willes; and by his niece, Emmie Willes. He is further survived by his sister-in-law, Constance Willes; and by his best friend, Ed Theim. He was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Willes.

A funeral service for John will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 10:30 A.M. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
