WILLIAM KLAVETTER

William Walter Klavetter, born March 3rd, 1936, passed away on December 6th, 2017 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, WI. Bill was a dedicated employee for the City of Neenah's City Garage. He was a heavy equipment operator up until his retirement on May 7th, 1993. He was preceded in death by both his parents, Walter and Adeline (Pontow) Klavetter, and sister, Sally Robinson. He is survived by his children and grandkids.

Bill would like to let all of you know that his work here is done.  He received a call for an incredible offer.  A promotion that no one on earth could refuse! It came with a huge sign-on-bonus, which includes endless time with family and friends that he hasn't seen in some time, with 100 percent job security for the first time in his life.  Bill's new mission takes him to a place where he'll be able to walk, run, and dance to his heart's content while listening to the most heavenly music.  Joy, laughter, and love are always guaranteed. He'll now be able to enjoy all the delicious food he wants (especially his pumpkin pie with lots of CoolWhip, and strawberry ice-cream sundaes) without gaining a single ounce!  Bill has left a few instructions for all those that knew him and his family…

“Please come and celebrate with my family and friends on all the special moments and memories I've shared with so many during my time here on Earth. Please pass along this message, and reach out to all those you know who were in any way a part of my life or are a part of any of my family member's lives...  With phone books and newspapers quickly becoming extinct, while the “SMART” phone and emailing grow in popularity, it's made it that much harder to reach out and communicate with all those we love and care for in moments like this. My family and I would like you to be a part of my life's celebration, and we'd like everyone to come together on this special day.”

A funeral service for Bill will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until the hour of service. He will be interred at Oak Hill Cemetery.
