1946 -2018

On Thursday, January 11, 2018, Sandy was welcomed to Heaven by the
most loving angels around. Her ultimate defeater was a battle with
Dementia and Parkinson's diseases (Lewy Body Disease). She was a very
strong woman and fought many illnesses until her passing. Sandy's time
with us was filled with family, friends, love, adventure, nature, music,
movies and so many different pets in her life. She was a phenomenal
person who loved everything. She loved doing things for people to make
their lives better. She always tried to make others happy before herself.
Sandy's true loves were her all of family, fishing, hunting, animals of all
kinds, and the dream of living somewhere it was warm but loved their
farm just as intensely.

Sandy's life began in Kenosha where she born and lived behind her
husband, Johnny Cole, not knowing that they would be married at 18.
She and Johnny knew each other since they were toddlers. They
continued to be friends that would turn into best friends and eventually
husband and wife. They did everything together. There wasn't anything
she couldn't do. Their lives were always combined. They rode motorcycles,
raised Labrador Retrievers, camped, whitewater rafted, hunted, skied
many slopes, snowmobiled, fished, planted grand gardens, and built an
amazing farm, Blue Moon Farms (She loved the view out of her windows).
Sandy always put 200% into everything she did and wouldn't quit until it
was just right. Sandy was also extremely intelligent. She helped so many
people through school and was the best in English. There wasn't much
she did not know. If she didn't know something, she would research it in
order to find a solution for the question. She loved to read. The amount
of books she read and kept is amazing in itself. Sandy's love to help people
inspired her to go back to school to become a CNA at the age of 60. She
always wanted to be a nurse but her family always came first. Sandy was
also an amazing athlete. She excelled at softball, golf and swimming. She
was a staunch Packer and Viking fan. There wasn't anything she could not
do and do it well. Softball was her specialty. She was amazing at it and
one of the best catchers. She loved hearing all of the stories of her
grandchildren playing ball. She adored the Cubs. She said she wouldn't
die until they won the World Series which they did in 2016. Watching the
Cubs games was her special moment with her dad (Charles Alcott), who
she is now with.

Sandy's early career stemmed for a love to be home for her family and
help the community. So she took a job as a school bus driver and drove
our children to and from school for 20+ years. She prided herself in her
job, the kids she loved and the impact on was amazing! To her, it was
like all of the kids were her own. She made their trips to school fun
because she was the only one with a radio. When it was her schools
taking a field trip, she was the first to volunteer because they would be
safe with her. She was also like a mom to many. Sandy had no problem
telling someone what was what. That was all a part of her love. She
wanted everyone to be okay and kids know how to be respectful and kind.

Along with her being married to Johnny, Sandy and Johnny had two
children (Charles Cole and Michelle (Cole) Perri), a son-in-law (Jon Perri),
5 grandchildren (Brandon May, Mallorie Cole, Shyanne Cole, Jared Perri
and Christian Perri) and many fur babies. In fact her last bunches of fur
babies were her beloved Pomeranian's.  Sandy poured her heart and soul
into her Pom's just as she did her horses, hence the Blue Moon Farms
name. She always said “Things happen once in a Blue Moon” and she was
right. Her beloved Paladin was once in a blue moon as was Bobby Socks
(after the song Bobby McGee). Her vivacity for life runs though of her
children and grandchildren.

Sandy leaves behind her immediate family and beloved Sister-in-law/
brother-in-law (Joyce and Dennis Burk; Jerry and Cindy Cole), so many
nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and insurmountable
number of friends that loved her dearly.

There will not be any services for Sandy as this was her wishes. In lieu of
flowers or cards or money, we ask that you plant a tree or flower in her
memory or donate to the research for Mental Illness, Dementia or
Parkinson's (Lewy Body) Research. Knowing that you gave back as she
always did would be wonderful. We know she would be happy.

American Grand Neenah. For the AMAZING care and love they gave mom
in her last days. Audry, Kayele, Molly… you girls are the best! Thank you
from the bottom of our hearts. Tiffany, Michelle and Dale…Amazing help
and love. Thank You.

Heartland Hospice… ANOTHER thank you for the amazing care you gave
us in such a short time. Karin our chaplain, Sarah her nurse… We can't
say thank you enough.
