Obituary
Lawrence “Larry” W. Tessen, age 93 of Neenah's passed away early Sunday, January 14, 2018. He was born in Waupaca on July 15, 1925 to the late William and Isabelle (Andrews) Tessen, and married Beverly Whitney.
Larry was a proud World War II Veteran having served in New Guinea. He loved sharing stories of his time in the service and was excited to take an Old Glory Flight with his daughter Linda a few years ago. After his time in the service, Larry worked in many different fields, ultimately retiring from Atlas Tag and Label. He enjoyed leather-tooling and bowling and joining friends for breakfast and coffee at McDonald's.
Larry is survived by his two daughters: Linda (DJ) Forcey, and Joanne Tessen; as well as by his brother, Don Tessen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly.
A funeral service for Larry will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, Fr. Larry Seidl officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Larry will join Beverly in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega.
