TY BABBITTS

Ty A. Babbitts, age 56, of Neenah, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 16, 2018.  He was the youngest child of the late Al and Josephine Babbitts.

In his earlier years, Ty enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time on the water.  It's those times we prefer to remember.

Ty's death marked the end of an ongoing heroin addiction that left a long path of destruction.  As many addicts do, his addiction started with prescription pills for a back injury and evolved into a devastating heroin addiction.  Ty struggled with his demons for many years as it swiftly stripped away his ability to be a productive and contributing member of society.

Ty leaves behind two beautiful children in the wreckage of his death.  He was a father, a son, a brother, uncle, friend, whose life was consumed by addiction.  If Ty's death can save one life, or another family from enduring this heartache, it will have given his life some meaning.
