Obituary
Frank Sommerfeld, age 59, of Neenah passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Neenah. He was born on February 12, 1958 in Neenah, son Frida (Peters) and the late Hugo Sommerfeld. He graduated from Menasha High School in 1977. Frank was an employee of Eggers Industries in Neenah. On June 11, 1999 he married Colette A. Pitkanen in Minneapolis, Minnesota and their marriage was blessed with one son, Dylan. He enjoyed woodworking, and going to art fairs and museums with his wife.
He is survived by his mother, Frida Sommerfeld; his wife, Colette; his son, Dylan; brothers: Fredi, Detlef, Helmut, and Bruno Sommerfeld; sisters: Heidi Thiel and Zara Sommerfeld; and their families.
The Funeral Service for Frank will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. David Skarsten officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
