Obituary
Irene C. Stinson, age 88 of Neenah, Wisconsin, passed away early Friday, February 9, 2018. She was born in Irvington, New Jersey to the late Guenther and Adelheid Kohls and married Robert Stinson on September 23, 1950. She worked alongside Bob and their family at Stinson's Laundry and Dry Cleaners in Norwood Park, Illinois for many years before their retirement in 1984. They lived in Park Ridge, Illinois for 49 years before moving to Neenah in 2011 to be close to their daughter and her husband.
Irene will be remembered as a loving wife by her husband of 67 years, Bob; and Mother and Nanny by their son, James (Linda) Stinson and their children: Shannon (Patrick) Markland, Chris (Joslyn) Stinson, and Kelly (Austin) Knierim; and by their son, Richard (Yuri Morita) Stinson and their children: Ren (Rebecca) Stinson, Jun (Jovan) Yamagishi, and Kenji Stinson; and by their daughter Barbara (Richard) Klamm and their children: Katie (Brandon Welsh) Klamm, Beth (Jack) Beyer, Natalie Klamm, and Erin (Adam) Martin; as well as by 8 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Irene will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 809 S. Commercial St., Neenah, Rev. Dennis Ellisen officiating. A visitation will be held at church from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service. A burial service will be held in the spring at Town of Maine Cemetery, Park Ridge.
