ROBERT STEWART

Robert Benjamin Stewart was born October 31st 1952 to Ina (Miller) and Irvin Stewart in Fort Worth Texas.  He passed away at AMC after a long illness on March 10, 2018.  The family moved around, but settled in Wild Rose Wisconsin.  Bob was very involved with 4H and after school activities.  He worked briefly at the pickle factory before getting a job working for his long time mentor, Tom Mankowski.  He graduated from Wild Rose High School in 1971.  After graduation he went to cooking school in Milwaukee.  His career varied from a number of restaurant to Neenah Founder, and until he retired from Lapham-Hickey Steel.  He formed a lifelong friendship with Mike Prokash during the twenngenberg on January 9, 1993.  He truly loved his wife of 25 years. 

Bob lived for his humor.  He love to take his children on trips.  He loved spending time with his grandson James.   He had numerous collections.  He was especially proud of his M&M Collection, which all of his children helped him build.  He loved his Packers and Badgers football.  He also loved the Brewers.  One of his last trips with his grandson was to see the new stadium.  The family had numerous pets which Bob loved.  Especially Lover and Lucky.   He loved WVBO.  He called in so much they knew him by his voice.  He volunteered For the MDA telethon for many years.  He waved to his children on air every year.  He took his time to help others even when it made him late. 

Bob is survived by his wife, Tammy; his children: Tina Stewart, Nancy (John) Ellenbecker, Becky Stewart, Adam Stewart and Samantha Stewart; a grandson, James Ellenbecker.  He wanted to also recognize his former son-in-law, Kitt Keberlein.  Bob is also survived by his sister, Heather Anderson; father in law, Donald Jungenberg; his wife's siblings; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Kenneth Stewart; his mother-in-law; his favorite brother-in-law and a good friend, Mike Anderson; aunt, Virginia Schilling; cousin, Kenneth Schilling.  Bob was preceded in death, on his marriage anniversary, by his uncle, Tex Wojahn.  His long-time friends, Tom Mankowski and Mike Prokash, also preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home.  The visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until the hour of service.  In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
