DENNIS HEDTKE

Dennis A. Hedtke, age 63, was called home to the Lord on Thursday, March 29, 2018 after a brief illness.  He was born on March 9, 1955 in Waupaca to the late Alfred and Betty Hedtke.  Dennis married Connie Nollenberg on June 20, 1987 at Martin Luther Church in Neenah and remained an active member.  He was an employee at Wisconsin Tissue and SCA for 43 years.  Dennis loved hunting, fishing, spending time at his cabin, and listening to his father-in-law's polka music.  He was always a good natured person who enjoyed telling jokes and making other people laugh.  He was a great storyteller, and his family especially loved to hear the stories about him and his father.  Dennis was truly a caring person and enjoyed making meals for his wife.  He was loved dearly by his family and will be missed greatly.

Dennis is survived by his wife Connie Hedtke; brother Dale (Cindy) Hedtke; brother-in-law Ronnie (Sharon) Nollenberg; sisters-in-law Cheryl Ziegler, Debbie Geiger, and Tina (Scott) Wagner; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his sister Darlene Koeune; brothers Ralph Peterson and Jim Peterson; parents-in-law Harold and Ervie Nollenberg; step-mother Viola Hedtke; brother-in-law Darrell Nollenberg; niece Melissa and nephews: Jestin and David. 

Christian Funeral Services for Dennis will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Martin Luther Church, 436 S. Lake Street, Neenah, Rev Jason Oakland and Rev. Tyler Shinnick officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service. Dennis will be laid to rest in Resthaven Cemetery. A memorial fund will be established.
