To all of Brian’s family and Al, My sincerest condolences on the passing of Brian.  Dawn, you said it best, that he was a little rough around the edges, that’s what I liked about him,and if you got to know him, he was a very caring and sentimental person.      We had a lot of long phone conversations, either discussing beer history or planning for future events.Had a lot of good laughs!     Years ago, I discovered letters from Brian to my Dad ( Dr. Karl Walter) before my Dad passed and knew that I had to meet him- we developed a good friendship over the years and I appreciated all the time and care that he put into organizing the George Walter birthday bash every year- thanks to Brian, I have met a lot of amazing relatives over the years at these events. This last Feb was to be a surprise birthday celebration for Brian at the Stone Arch during the George Walter bash, but we were the ones surprised to find out that Brian was in the hospital. We still sang him a video happy birthday and Al brought him a piece of cake at the hospital. I’m glad I had his friendship over the last several years. Again, you all have my deepest sympathies. Rest in peace, buddy!🍻
