MARVIN PAGEL

Marvin was the best! I was fortunate to get to know him in 2016. He was my mom's cousin, my Grandma's (Amanda Pagel Pyott) nephew. I was so sorry to hear about his passing. I will miss our phone calls. He loved his family very much and spoke of his siblings, nieces, and nephews all the time.

I had the pleasure of meeting Marvin when I took my dad, John Oberstadt, Marvin’s cousin, to visit Marvin in 2022. It was nice to listen to dad and him share memories of their youth. He was such a nice man! I wish I’d have called him more often.

It’s been so wonderful to have known Marvin, he is such a splendid man. I meet Marvin from my mother (Marcia Pyott Kavanaugh) they were cousins.  I loved all his stories and truly enjoyed writing letters to him. He is one of those amazing people that just touches your life in a special way.  He will always be remembered. My condolences to everyone.
