CLIFFORD WINCKLER

Clifford E. Winckler, age 88 of Menasha, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Gardens of Fountain Way. He was born June 3, 1925 to the late Edward and Nina (Rupple) Winckler in Medina, WI. On July 26, 1952 he married Ethel Westphal, who preceded him in death on March 25, 2005. Cliff was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Neenah, where he served as an usher. He also worked on his familys farms until he was 25 and then worked for American Can, retiring after 36 years. Cliff enjoyed weekly trips to Cinders Restaurant, gardening, and going on fishing trips with Ethel. He is survived by his niece, LouAnn (Thomas) Graf; his nephews: Richard (Grace) Westphal and Fredrick Westphal; as well as many cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews. The funeral service for Cliff will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 200 N. Commercial St., Neenah, Rev. Paul Holte officiating. Friends and family may visit Wednesday at church from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Heaven, Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
