WALTER SEACOTTE

Walter L. “Wally” Seacotte, age 73 of Appleton, passed away early Friday, May 25, 2018. He was born in Superior, WI to the late Walter R. and Pauline Seacotte on June 22, 1944.

Wally will be sadly missed by many, as he was always the life of the party. He enjoyed being with his friends, but also cherished the time he spent with his wife, Debbie. Together for 35 years, they traveled across the country and enjoyed trying their luck at casinos both locally and on their trips to Las Vegas. Wally also enjoyed watching the Brewers, Packers, and Badgers play when he wasn't outdoors golfing, fishing or hunting. He also liked to spend his time gardening and pickling and canning his goods. Family boating trips were also a highlight of summers past. And regardless of the season, he loved his pellet stove and was never without a warm blanket.

Wally worked for over 20 years as a computer field engineer at Storage Tech. After retiring, he enjoyed his mornings with the “Morning Morons” watching The Price Is Right. Wally was also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

Wally leaves behind his wife of 13 years, Debbie Seacotte; his children: Stacie (Justin Evans) Gries, and Scott (Nikki) Seacotte; and his granddaughters, Brianna and Julia Gries. He was preceded in death by his sister Barb (John) Williams.

A Memorial Service for Wally will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

Wally's family would like to extend a warm thank you to Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology as well as to ThedaCare at Home and the 7th Floor Oncology nurses and staff at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton for all of their support and compassion throughout caring for him. Special thank you also to Dr. Hubert and Katie for their dedication to Wally.
