DOROTHY JENSEN

Dorothy L. Jensen, age 84, passed away with her family and friends by her side on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.  She was born in Kingsford, MI on March 14, 1934 to the late William and Matty Marble and resided in Neenah.  Dorothy married Duane Jensen on September 21, 1963, and their marriage was blessed with four children.  She always had a strong faith and was a longtime member of New Hope Lutheran Church in Neenah.  Dorothy was an avid Packer's fan and loved to knit for others, especially slippers, baby blankets, and wash cloths.  She was loved dearly by her family and will be missed greatly.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Douglas Jensen, Ann Jensen, William (Cheney) Jensen, and Daniel (Mary Walls) Jensen; grandchildren: Taylor, Elizabeth, Angela, Nicole, and Duane Jensen; special friend Marie Wockenfus and her family who knew Dorothy as “Grandma Jensen.”  She is further survived by her church family at New Hope Lutheran Church, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.  Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Duane Jensen; brothers Bruce and Clayton Marble; and sisters Alice Van Roy and Elizabeth LeGault.

The Funeral Service for Dorothy will be held at Noon on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at New Hope Lutheran Church, 1850 American Drive, Neenah with Rev. Jeff Prewitt officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
