STEPHEN ELLISEN

Stephen Ellisen, age 58, passed away unexpectedly after surgical complications on Thursday, June 7, 2018.  He was born in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, New York on June 26, 1959 to the late Otto and Jenny Ellisen.  Steve was a first generation son to immigrant parents and was very proud of his Norwegian heritage.  He married Kelli Moon at Redeemer St. John's Lutheran Church in Bay Ridge Brooklyn on September 27, 1986, and their marriage was blessed with three children.  Steve worked at Menasha Utilities for 30 years before retiring.  He had an infectious smile for all people, loved to joke and laugh, and was a very caring, loving, and accepting person.  He enjoyed going on cruises with his wife and treasured the memories of their trips together.  Steve deeply loved his family and was loved in return by them, and will be truly missed.

Steve is survived by his wife Kelli Moon Ellisen; children: Tyler, Courtney, and Sarah Ellisen; siblings Lillian (Richard) Hull and Rev. Dennis (Cathy) Ellisen; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father-in-law Edward Moon. 

The Memorial Service for Steve will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday June 24, 2018 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 809 S. Commercial Street, Neenah with Rev. Dewey Wisner officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church from 2:30 p.m. until the hour of the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Boys and Girls Brigade in Neenah are appreciated.
