Obituary
Kenneth C. Ratzburg, age 86, received his crown of glory and got his wish to go to heaven on Monday, June 25, 2018. He was born on December 13, 1931 to the late Adolph and Laura Ratzburg. Ken married Margaret “Toots” Hoehne on May 21, 1955. The couple lived together in Neenah for 59 years 4 months and 6 days before she entered Heaven in 2014. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. and was a veteran of the Korean War. Ken worked for the City of Neenah for most of his career and was the Superintendent of Public Works at the time of his retirement. Ken was an avid outdoorsman who loved to duck hunt and fish at “the shack.” He was also an avid bowler and gardener who loved to stay active.
Ken was a generous Christian man who enjoyed his family. He was an active, longtime member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church in Neenah. Ken gave his time, talents, and treasures there for many years and was also a contributor to Fox Valley Lutheran High School. He is loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
Ken is survived by his daughters: Bonnie (David) Voight of Winchester; Dr. Susan A. Ratzburg of Wautoma; Cindy (Mick) Kronberg of Larsen; and Pam Leifer of Wautoma. He is also survived by his brother Donald Ratzburg; sister-in-law Marge (Dick) Erickson of Neenah, 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A Victory Celebration for Ken will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, 1390 Breezewood Lane, Neenah with Rev. Richard Frost officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service. He will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to Grace Ev. Lutheran Church.
Ken's family would like to thank his neighbors, especially John and Mary Bellmore, for all of their kindness over the years.
