KAREN STENSON

Karen J. Stenson, age 74 of Menasha, passed away after a hard-fought battle with lung cancer on Friday, July 6, 2018. She was born August 3, 1943 to the late Willington and Gertrude (Fredericks) Meyer.

Karen was a St. Mary's Catholic High School graduate and on August 14, 1965, she married James Stenson. Together they had two sons, Scott and Bradley. Karen was a very crafty person who enjoyed sewing and quilting. She loved spending time tending to her yard, but mostly enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren.

Karen is survived by her two sons: Scott Stenson, and Bradley (Amy) Stenson; her grandchildren: Bret, William, and Grace Stenson; her step-grandchildren: Derek and Evan Sloat; and by her sisters: Shirley Viggiano and Nancy Hoffman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim in 2006; and by her sister, Debra Adkins; and brother, Jeff Meyer.

A Funeral Service for Karen will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of service. Karen will be interred alongside Jim in Rural Cemetery.
