Obituary
Diane M. Jacobson, age 69, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 12, 2018 surrounded by her family, worshipping Jesus up until her last moments. She was in love with her Daddy God and wanted everyone to learn that they could KNOW Him.
Her loves here on earth were God, her family, her children, her grandchildren and mission work. She was a servant at heart and desired to help anyone in need. She found deep purpose in the mission field. It's where she found great joy and made so many lifelong friends. She's now moved onto a new mission. In her time here on earth, her heart's desire was to show the world who Jesus really is and that her children walk in this legacy. She was a warrior and prayed for most of you daily who are reading this today. Her smile lit up a room and her laugh will be heard in everyone's spirit forever. She was a Mom to so many and true friend to all that knew her.
Diane will be deeply missed and loved by her children: Nicole (Duane) Wendler, Erin (Christopher) Zehner, Ryan (Carlo) Petersen, and Brad Verbruggen; step-son, Trevor Leopold; grandchildren: Porsche, Grant, Maxine, Charity, Elsie, Bayley, Sanne and Axlan; sisters and brothers: Gary (Carol) Schadrie, Pat (Ann) Schadrie, Jim (Connie) VerKuilen, Carol (Jack) Konkle, Bonnie (Bob) Calmes, David (Jerry) VerKuilen, Mary (Rich) Zenisek, John (Mary Jo) VerKuilen, Margaret (Rich) Storey, Ted (Beth) VerKuilen, and Roseann (Jerry) Olsen. She's further survived by her brother-in-law, Robert Anderson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Marie VerKuilen; sisters, Jan Anderson and Joanne Schadrie; and niece, Julayne Baker
A celebration of life for Diane will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Christ the Rock Community Church, W6254 Hwy 10-114, Menasha with Rev. John Slotten and Rev. Kevin Kelly officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Diane's name to help the family with funeral costs.
