JANET KEYES

Janet L. Keyes, (Frontczak), age 60, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018, at home with her family by her side.  Cancer tried to take her in 1999 and 2012, but she beat it.  But the third time was not the charm for Janet.  After a brief, but hard fought battle, she went in peace to be with her father, Tony and brother, Mark.

Janet was born May 24, 1958, in Milwaukee, daughter of Tony and Pat Frontczak.  She was raised in Racine and let to venture out and spread her wings at the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, where she earned her BA in Business in 1980.  After graduating Janet worked for 18 years at Central Products, now Inter-Tape Polymer Group, in customer service selling tape, making numerous contacts, friends and associates.

While at Central she met and married Brian Keyes on April 8, 1995.  They decided to make a life together and were still going strong after 23 years. Raising her son, Ryan Breyer (from her 1st marriage), was another challenge, but one that was met and conquered.

Janet did miss her true calling though.  She was born to be a Professional Shopper.  Many times people would talk or call and ask where to find a certain pair of shoes or a purse, belt or piece of clothing.  And she knew exactly where to find it.  And of course it was always on sale!  I think I'll dump my Kohl's stock now!

Janet loved to sun in the pool, shop, go to the casino with her best friend, Barb (Tim) McGinnis, and her adopted mother, LaVerne Van Vreede.  She brought joy and happiness into many lives be it family, friends or work cohorts.  Janet was a shining star in whatever she did.

Survivors include her husband, Brian; son, Ryan Breyer and his fiancé, Sara; her mother, Pat Frontczak; two sisters: Debbie (Mike) Dietrich, Karen (Dan) Squires; mother-in-law, Audrey Keyes; two brothers-in-law: Glenn Keyes, Paul (Rhonda) Keyes; four sisters-in-law: Dawn Gallagher, Lynn Keyes, Susan (Dale) DeRyter, Kay (Doug) Keyes-Farrar ; her 2nd family the Van Vreede's; and her nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Janet was preceded in death by her father, Tony; and a brother, Mark.  She will be deeply missed by all the people she came to know and love.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, July 27, 2018, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home.  The visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until the hour of service.  In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.

We had good and bad times, more good than bad, but I hope now my love that you are no longer in pain, but at peace.  Sleep well my love until I see you again, love, Brian.
