Obituary
Stephen J. Grignon “Steve” age 76, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family. He fought a courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Steve was born on February 21, 1942 to the late Thomas A. and Betty Grignon. He graduated from Shawano High School in 1960.
He moved to Milwaukee to attend technical college and became a machinist. Steve worked at American Can for 35 years.
He married Sandra Dumke on May 17, 1991 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Neenah.
Steve had many hobbies including golf, camping, watching the Packers and Badgers play. He was a fan of his granddaughter's sporting events. He bowled his first 300 game at age 72. Steve loved his Harley Davidson, taking it for trips to Sturgis with his buddies.
Steve will be greatly missed by his wife, Sandra, children: Steve Jr. “Sid” (Christy), Yvonne (Darin) Grissman; Stepchildren: Steve Dumke, Lori (Mark) Dumke; Grandchildren: Paige and Taylor (Yvonne) Grissman. Further survived by his sister Paula Grignon, sister-in-laws: Betty Lemmers and Barbara Kohlbeck; a niece, and many nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nikki Knope, and son, David Grignon.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 3:00 PM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in Steve's name.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Heartland Hospice Services, Dr. Marie Aristigueta and Dr. Duncan for all of their professional care and compassion to Steve.
