KATIE MACKINNON

Katie Jane MacKinnon, age 87, went to her Heavenly home on Saturday, August 4, 2018.  She was born on the Island of Lewis, in Scotland, on August 15, 1930, daughter of the late Alexander and Maggie (Maciver) MacKinnon. 

Katie was employed at Neenah Paper Company for 34 years until her retirement in December of 1992.  She loved travelling to Scotland every year and to Dallas, TX, spending time with her much loved Niece, Isabel, her husband, Bill, and their children: Dewey and her precious Godchild, Sheena.

Katie loved to knit children's clothes and baking.

She will be sadly missed by her sister, Catriona, of Neenah; and a much loved niece, Margaret Joan, in Scotland; and niece, Isabel (Bill); as well as other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Katie was preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters, including her twin sister who died in infancy.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.  Entombment will follow in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.  In lieu of flowers and to express condolences please give to the charity of your choice in Katie's name.

Katie's sister, Catriona, would like to extend a special thank you to many good friends; the Schneider family; Mory Wrase; her sister, Susan Cochran; Lisa, Mike, Riley, Whitney, Kelly; our dear cousin, Rochelle (Dan) and their children: Monique and Alexa, for all the years of loving friendship and always being there for support.
