Obituary
William B. “Bill” Hacker, age 64, passed away surrounded by his family at Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 29, 1954 in Oshkosh, son of the late Vernon and Laura (McCauley) Hacker.
Bill married Shawn Williamson on May 24, 1980. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Bill was a true family man and will sadly be missed by his wife and daughter, Shawn and Jessica Hacker; two sisters and a brother: Nancy (John Sr.) Ludwig, John (Cory) Hacker, Susan Hacker; nieces and nephews: MacKenzie and Michael Hacker, Lisa (Ben) Harrington, John Michael (Renee) Ludwig; and special aunts: Betsy Metscher and Joan Daniel.
The Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the hour of service.
The family would like to thank Froedert Hospital and their CFAC team, and Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology, for all their wonderful and compassionate care of Bill.
