JON LOTH

October 04, 1963 - August 18, 2018

Obituary

Jon G. Loth, age 54 of Menasha, passed away at home with his loving family by his side on Saturday, August 18, 2018 after a hard-fought battle with glioblastoma.  He was born October 4, 1963 to Don and Judy Loth in Milwaukee, and married Tracy on April 12, 1985. Together they had two children.

Jon was a 1982 graduate of Menasha High School and began working in the aviation industry shortly thereafter, having put in over 30 years in the business. He most recently worked for Proserv Aviation, Inc., a company that treated him like family.

Jon's passion in life was his family. He was at his happiest when spending time with the ones closest to him.  Jon loved kids. He was especially happy when his granddaughter, Vera Jon, was born; she brought him so much happiness in her 21 months with her “Papa”.  Jon was a lover of sports, he loved the Menasha Bluejays, the Green Bay Packers and watching Ben play football for the UMD Bulldogs.  Jon's random sayings and singing his favorite tunes will be greatly missed.

Jon will be sadly missed by his wife, Tracy; his children: Ben Loth and Elizabeth (Bryan) Blum; by his granddaughter, Vera Jon Blum; his parents; his siblings: Don, Jr. (Lois) Loth; Ed Loth; and Gerilynn (Jon) Lucareli; and by his loving nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Cheryl Heale; father-in-law, Ed (Nancy) Janikowsky; sister-in-law, Vicki (Rick) Marquette; and brothers-in-law, Zach Motto and Josh (Holly) Motto and by many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Pat Loth.

A memorial service for Jon will be held at 5:30 P.M. on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. until the hour of service.

Jon's family would like to extend a warm thank you to the nurses of ThedaCare at Home Hospice, especially Lorraine and Chaplain Karen for their care and compassion of Jon. Thank you also to his boss, Tom Radwill for treating the entire family so well, even after Jon was unable to work. And also thank you to all of his awesome friends and family members who were there when you were most needed.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asked that donations in Jon's memory be made to; Fox Valley Brain Tumor Coalition  https://www.fvbtc.org/donate-2/  or The Menasha Bluejay Football Program (please make checks payable to Menasha Football).
