HAROLD SEYMOUR

Harold L. Seymour, age 86, of Neenah passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Parkview Care Center in Oshkosh. He was born on September 28, 1926 in Racine, Wisconsin, son of the late Gilbert and Edith (Underwood) Seymour. After high school, Harold joined the United States Navy and proudly served his country. On June 12, 1948 he married Doris M. Wolff in Neenah, Wisconsin. Harold was the office manager at Inmont Inks, and retired from BASF after they acquired Inmont. He was a member of St. Gabriel Parish in Neenah and the Knights of Columbus. Harold loved music, he was a drummer and played for several fine bands throughout the years. He loved hunting, fishing, and golfing. Harold volunteered much of his time with the Boys and Girls Brigade, and as a Legion baseball coach. His greatest times were those spent with his family in the outdoors. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Doris; three sons: Steve (Terri), Neenah, Gary (Mary), Germantown, Scott (Lois), Neenah; grandchildren: Tyler Seymour, Neenah, Kim (Ryan) Thicke, Colgate, Kate (Tony) Jawson, Menomonee Falls, Savannah (Shawn) Bordeaux, Neenah, Ben Landgraf, Platteville, Jessica Landgraf, LaCrosse; great grandchildren: Braelyn, Brooklyn, and Easton Jawson. Funeral Mass for Harold will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel Parish (900 Geiger Street) with Father Larry Seidl officiating. Friends will be received directly at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Neenah. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
