Obituary
Paul C. Williams, age 63 of Menasha, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Paul, the son of Robert and Clair (Colwick) Williams was born in Precinct #2 Ellington Air Field, Texas on August 23, 1955. Paul married Nancy (Gates) Williams on May 13, 1995 at Trinity Lutheran Church of Menasha.
Paul graduated from Clear Creek High School and continued his education with Apprentice training with Pipefitters Local 211 in Houston, Texas. He traveled the United States as a pipefitter/steamfitter/welder before settling in Menasha and joining Local 400. Most recently he was employed with Boldt Construction and Azco as a welding inspector before retiring due to health.
Paul will be remembered as someone who enjoyed working with his hands remodeling his home. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, gardening, cooking. Paul was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Menasha.
Paul is survived by his wife of 23 years, Nancy; his mother, Clair Williams; sister Lynn Williams; and by his brother, Brian (Sabrina) Williams and their son, Sawyer. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Elaine Gates; by his sisters-in-law, Chris (Ron) Feutz; Connie Streblow; and Karen (Tony) Whitmarsh, and by Nancy's niece and nephews: Jamie Weber; Andy (Nicole) Feutz; Nick (Barbi) Feutz; Adam (Elizabeth) Whitmarsh; and Luke Whitmarsh and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; his father-in-law, Richard Gates; and grandparents.
A Memorial Service for Paul will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Menasha on Friday, October 5, 2018. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 with service to follow.
In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
Paul's family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Rev. Steven R. Billings for his compassion, support, and close friendship since Paul's diagnosis. A special thank you is also extended to the staff at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology, and the staff of Cherry Meadows for making his last days as easy as possible.
