Obituary
Gary L. Schafer, age 65, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, October 14, 2018. He was born July 18, 1953 in Appleton, son of the late Jack and Lucille (Schroeder) Schafer.
Gary retired from the Neenah Foundry after 38 years employment. He was a loyal Cubs fan and he enjoyed fishing.
Gary is survived by his brother, Dan Schafer; his sister, Darla (Bruce) Rasmussen; Nephew, Jason (Katie) Rasmussen; niece, Gretchen (Mitch) Kinnard; great niece Ella Kinnard, and great nephews William and Jack Rasmussen; and a close relative, Bob Schroeder.
Gary's wishes were to be cremated and no service held.
