ROBERT ROSENAK

Robert Kiser “Bob” Rosenak, age 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah.  He was born October 5, 1940, in Indianapolis, IN, son of the late Dr. Bernard and Fannie (Kiser) Rosenak.  

Bob attended Shortridge High School in Indianapolis.  He then graduated from Purdue University with degrees in Electrical Engineering and Speech.  Bob worked as a Disc Jockey, owning a radio stations in Eagle River and Park Falls, WI.  He was also one of the 100 Pioneers of Cable TV, building and owning Cable TV companies in Eagle River and Park Falls, WI.

Bob also conducted interviews for the radio, his favorite interview being with Theodore Geisel (Dr Seuss); he was at one time the Director of the Chamber of Commerce in Eagle River, and a Rotarian.  He and his wife Pat moved to Corrales, NM, in 1996 where he worked as an Ambassador at the airport. Bob loved to travel, fish, golf and build model railroads. He was a great storyteller, magician, choral singer, and cribbage player.

Bob is survived by his wife, Pat; five daughters: Lynn Rosenak Dondlinger (Pete, deceased), Sussex, WI, Laura Rosenak, Eagle River, WI, Beth Morrison Patterson, Sugar Camp, WI, Carol Morrison Healy, Neenah, WI, Susie Morrison Lutz (Gary), Appleton, WI; 11 grandchildren: Andrew (Melissa), Hayley, Mitchell, Scott, Kayla, Briar, Eston (Mackenzie) Brigette (Clay), Devon (Nikki), Audrey and Kennedy; four great-grandchildren: Emma, Vladislav, Viktor and Brayson; and his sister, Martha (Bill) Fiffer, Lincolnshire, IL, as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The funeral service will take place at 11am on Mon, October 29, 2018, at the Congregational United Church of Christ of Neenah/Menasha, 1511 Nicolet Blvd, Neenah, with the Rev. Dr Dave Frey officiating.  The visitation will be held at the church from 10 am until the hour of service.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established for Wisconsin Public Television.
