Obituary
Eugene H. Hardell, age 76 of Neenah, passed away early Tuesday, October 30, 2018. He was born February 27, 1942 in Wausau to the late Harold and Bernice Hardell Clifcorn.
After graduating from Neenah High School, Eugene joined the US Navy and served from 1960-1966. He was a part of the first crew on the USS Enterprise CVA(N)65, and was stationed at the Naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba during the missile crisis.
Eugene was then employed at the Neenah Foundry for 11 years, and retired from Kimberly-Clark after 25 years there.
Eugene is survived by his ex-wife, Nina Hardell; his children: Jennifer (Theodore) Olson; Jacqueline Maynard; Jeffrey (Jessica) Hardell; and Johanna (Matthew) Wittmann; as well as by his grandchildren: Jordan Laborde; Jeffrey and Holly Maynard; Jackson and Ethan Hardell; and James Wittmann. He is further survived by his half-siblings: Michael Clifcorn; Monty (Kathryn) Clifcorn; as well as by his foster brother, foster sisters, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne and Bruce Hardell.
